The Freestanding Warming Drawers Durability Testing Apparatus is designed according to customer-specific requirements. It is intended for vertical drawer durability testing of upright insulated cabinets. This fully automated test equipment is suitable for certification bodies, factory laboratories, and other testing departments.
The system uses a mature PLC intelligent control system, equipped with adjustable motion execution mechanisms and dedicated fixtures. A color LCD touchscreen is standard, allowing pre-setting of test travel, speed, cycle count, and door opening/closing dwell time. This enables realistic simulation of manual drawer operation with intelligent, multi-functional control.
Principle:
1. Opening: A servo motor drives the mechanical arm, which slowly pulls the drawer handle fixture with a soft rope or uses a suction cup attached to the drawer door, opening the drawer to 15–20 mm before fully open. Maximum drawer opening distance: 470 mm.
2. Closing: The servo motor drives the mechanical arm to push the pressure roller, causing the drawer to close from 15–20 mm before full open to fully closed.
3. Cycle Definition: One open-and-close sequence counts as one cycle. The process repeats automatically until the preset number of test cycles is reached, at which point the system stops.

Structure:
Overall frame structure, with samples placed on a platform to reduce equipment vibration and relative motion-induced stress. The base platform supports vertical columns containing two drawer mechanisms (upper and lower), which are adjustable to accommodate drawers at different positions.

System Unit Introduction:
The system is modular, designed and manufactured strictly according to standards while maximizing standardization of components, ensuring optimal performance and technical support. Servo motors provide high reliability and long service life. The system is compact, visually appealing, and easy to maintain.
4.1 Manipulator Unit
4.1.1 Contains two drawer-opening/closing manipulators.
4.1.2 Fixed to the vertical column on the base platform; arms are vertically adjustable to match different drawer positions.
4.1.3 Composed of servo motor + precision slide + dedicated fixture. Program-controlled servo drives the fixture along the slide to perform linear motions, achieving repeated drawer open/close cycles.
4.2 Frame
Steel platform with sample fixtures.
Three sample fixtures on the platform, with rubber pads at ends to prevent sample damage.
4.3 Intelligent Electrical Control System
4.3.1 Includes control cabinet, control circuits, operation panel, and core control components.
4.3.2 PLC intelligent control (Mitsubishi) and 7-inch color touchscreen.
4.3.3 System software developed in-house; test speed, cycle count, and travel distance can be preset on touchscreen, fully meeting standard requirements.
